Department of Life Sciences
The faculty and staff of the Life Science Department would like to extend to you a warm welcome. We appreciate your interest in our varied disciplines. The department offers a wide selection of courses in the Biological Sciences, Health, and Physical Education. Our transfer classes are designed to articulate with other colleges and universities and to successfully prepare you for continued education. Our faculty and staff are here for you whether it's inside the classroom or outside, additionally through the Student Success Center, we offer extra assistance in our biology tutoring center. The Community Health Education Complex serves all of your workout needs and the staff is happy to answer your questions and address your needs.
If you have any questions, please give us a call or better yet, stop by. In our aquatics center, you are sure to find the water in our two pools . . . wet. In our aerobics center, the iron is pumping, treadmills running, and the bicycle wheels turning but not going anywhere. In health, you will learn the good and sometimes the not-so-good about what we do to ourselves. In biology, we will explore the wide world of life and all of its wonders.
