Arnold Taylor is an alumnus of John A. Logan College and a native of Southern Illinois. He graduated from the Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a bachelor's degree in Spanish and a bachelor's degree in Business Management. He went on to earn his Masters degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures.
Mr. Taylor continued his studies at SIU to become state certified in teaching Bilingual Education, Spanish, Business, and Accounting. He is a member of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP).
Mr. Taylor teaches full time at Carbondale Community High School where he teaches Spanish and Honors Spanish, serves on the Reading Committee, and is a Sponsor for the Spanish Club. He enjoys keeping in touch with the culture by traveling frequently to Latin America - where he taught English one summer. Since 2001, Mr. Taylor has been a term Spanish Instructor at John A. Logan College.
