Elizabeth Wheeler’s Biography
Elizabeth is a native of Western Kentucky and has resided in Southern IL since 1994 Elizabeth received her BS in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University in 1984. She is currently pursuing her masters but has taken this year off to acclimate to SICCM. She has extensive experience in the practice areas of home health, out-patient, work hardening, rehab, long-term care and pediatrics. She has a past certification as a Certified Hand Therapist and is the owner of Sensational Kids, LLC which is a private practice specializing in pediatrics – Early Intervention and 3-21 population. She has teaching experience from University of Southern Indiana in the OT and OTA programs and is currently the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and full-time teacher for the OTA program here at SICCM.
