David Evans’ Biography
I was hired full time in the Fall of 2008 as an English instructor. I have a B.S. degree from South Dakota State University, and an MFA in creative writing from the Iowa Writer’s Workshop form the University of Iowa. I have published many of my poems in journals and anthologies around the country and am currently trying to publish my first book “A Chorus of the Wild.”
Besides helping my wife, the poet Karen Kipp, raise our daughter Tempest amid a flurry of horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, peacocks, goats, and pigs, I golf, box, play racquetball, and lift weights to prove to myself that I’m not as old as I am.
