For those students who want to expand their opportunities, the Technical Resource Management degree at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale can provide the training and courses necessary for further career advancement.
With SIU-C’s Capstone Option, qualifying students with an A.A.S. have an advantage. Capstone reduces University Core Curriculum from 41 to 30 hours and guarantees an academic plan of no more than 60 hours to earn a Bachelor of Science.
What is “2+2”?
John A. Logan College and Southern Illinois University Carbondale have created a special 2+2 program that prepares students to complete an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Construction Management Technology at John A. Logan College. Students may then continue at SIUC to earn a bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Construction Management.
This unique partnership allows students who enroll in the AAS Construction Management Technology Program at John A. Logan College to experience the advantages of both a community college and a four-year university. While attending John A. Logan College, students will enjoy the low tuition and small class sizes of a community college. John A. Logan College is located just minutes away from SIUC, and the Saluki Express provides free transportation between the two campuses throughout the day.
The technical resource management (TRM) degree program focuses on managerial and supervisory skills for the technical and service professions. Graduates put these skills to work in their technical field as team leaders, supervisors, coordinators, or directors. For specific degree requirements, consult the current SIUC Undergraduate Catalog, which can be viewed on-line along with transferable course equivalencies and other information http://www.siu.edu/siuc/.
