The Southern
Illinois Family and Early Education Resource Centers are a unique
system of libraries and resource centers sharing the resources of
several agencies and organizations. This collaborative effort offers
over 14,000 items available for loan.
What is Available?
Toys, Children's Books, Story Bags,
Children's Videos, Activity Kits, Special Needs Kits, Resource
Videos and Resource Books on topics including the following:
children's activities, infant through school-age resources,
curriculum, discipline, management, child development, special
needs, training materials, self studies and more....
Who Can Use Them?
Anyone can check out items at the
Southern Illinois Family and Early Education Resource Centers.
To become a member fill out an application and borrower's
agreement found in forms on this website or at each location.
Current members include child care professionals, teachers, parents,
college students, grandparents, therapists and agency staff.
