The Teachers Professional Development
Academy is designed to provide training for Illinois certified teachers
planning to renew their certificates as required by the Illinois State
Board of Education. John A. Logan College is an accredited provider
for CEUs and CPDUs. A schedule of courses will be provided on a
quarterly basis to all teachers working in the John A. Logan College
district. A variety of topics will be covered including the areas of
Technology, Management/Leadership, Industrial/Vocational, Healthcare,
Special Education and others based on survey results. Customized
courses can also be provided for individual districts or schools needing
to fulfill training related to their School Improvement Plans.
