Shelice was a two-year varsity starter at point guard for Homewood-Flossmoor High School in Chicago. An honor student and all-conference selection, she helped lead the Vikings to the second round of the regional playoffs and a second place finish in conference. She will compete at both the point and shooting guard positions for Logan. Her twin sister Shenay also plays for the Lady Vols.
Ali transferred to Logan after playing one season at Three Rivers Community College and will compete at the forward position for the Lady Vols. A native of Ullin, Illinois, she prepped at Meridian High School for Coach Victor Baker where she was named conference MVP three years in a row while helping lead her team to two conference titles. She also earned All-South honors her junior and senior seasons.
Kristi comes to Logan from Washington, Illinois, where she played point guard for the Lady Panthers. As a senior, she helped lead the team to an undefeated conference season and a regional title. She also played volleyball and soccer in high school.
Shenay comes to Logan from Chicago where she was an all-conference performer in basketball at Homewood-Flossmoor High School, playing under the direction of Coach Ryan Sheriff. She averaged 10 points, five steals, and four assists per game as a senior and will play both point and shooting guard for the Lady Vols. Her twin sister Shelice is also a member of the team.
Emily averaged 8.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game for the Lady Vols last season. She scored in double figures 12 times, with a season-high 17 points against Dyersburg State Community College.
Before coming to Logan, she was a three-year starter at Lone Oak High School where she averaged 16 points, eight rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 3.1 steals per game as a senior. A three-time All-Second District selection, she was voted MVP of the Second District as a junior and senior. In 2006, she was named to the First Region all-tournament team, received the Rex Alexander Sportsmanship Award, and earned All-State honorable mention honors.
Sade joins the Lady Vols after a successful basketball career at Manley High School in Chicago. Playing both point and shooting guard, she averaged 26 points and 11 rebounds per game as a senior. An honor student, she was also on the volleyball team and was named Outstanding Female Athlete her junior year.
Lacy started every game at the guard spot for Logan last season. She averaged 6.7 points per game and was the team's second-leading rebounder at 6.7 boards per game. She scored in double figures six times, reaching her season-high of 16 points against Malcolm X Community College.
She came to Logan from Salem High School where she played for Coach Janet Holst. She averaged 13.3 points per game on 64 percent shooting from the field as a senior and helped lead her team to the regional finals. She also averaged a team-high 7.1 rebounds while handing out 3.1 assists per tilt. A first team All-Apollo Conference performer her senior year, she was a 2006 All-South selection by the Southern Illinois Coaches Association and earned special mention honors from the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association.
Amanda transferred to Logan after playing last season at Northeast Community College where she averaged a team-high 11.2 points per game and made the President's Honor List. She had a decorated career at West Hill High School in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, being named MVP of her basketball team and Female Athlete of the Year. She averaged 22 points, 4.6 assists, and four rebounds per game her senior year and also participated in volleyball and flag football.
Joy comes to Logan from Bogan High School in Chicago where she averaged 10 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, three steals, and two blocks per contest, helping the Bengals win regional and sectional titles her senior year. She participated in the prestigious Public League All-Star game and was voted Most Athletic in her high school.
Jessica will compete at the shooting guard position for the Lady Vols this season. As a senior at Hamilton County High School, she averaged 12 points, six rebounds, and four assists per game, earning first team all-conference honors. She was also selected All-South and was named to the All-State fourth team. An honor student, she was on her high school's volleyball and track teams and currently plays outside hitter for Logan's volleyball team.
Erin joins the Lady Vols as a post player this season. She attended Crystal Lake South High School where she captained the basketball team for three years. Her sophomore season, she helped guide the Gators to the conference championship and was voted team MVP. She made the honor roll every year and received the Dawn Bassit Award as a senior.
Monique comes to Logan from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, by way of Central Florida Community College where she played basketball last season and was on the Dean's List. A three-sport athlete at Pope John Paul II High School, she participated in basketball, soccer, and volleyball. She was selected MVP of the basketball team and chosen Athlete of the Year her sophomore and senior years. She will play both point and shooting guard for the Lady Vols.
Jessica transferred to Logan after playing basketball one year at Olney Central College. She played high school basketball at Frankfort Community High School under the guidance of Matt Hampleman and Richard Glodich. She earned all-conference honors as a senior and was voted her team's MVP. A versatile athlete, she also competed in volleyball, softball, and track and was a member of the National Honor Society. She will play at the forward spot for the Lady Vols.
Abby competed in 26 games for Logan as a freshman, missing five games due to injury. She averaged 5.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest and had six double-figure scoring outings, with a season-high 14 points against Olney Central College.
She joined the Lady Vols after a stellar career at Hamilton County High School. She set a new school career-scoring record with 2,014 points, breaking the previous mark of 1,720 set by former NBA star Jerry Sloan. A two-time first team All-State selection, Abby was also named MVP of the Black Diamond Conference her junior and senior years. Shooting 45.9 percent from the floor, she averaged 18 points and 11 rebounds per game her senior year and led her team to a regional title.
