Getting Started Checklist
The purpose of this checklist is to ensure that newly admitted freshmen students have completed all required administrative steps before beginning classes. These items are all linked to the appropriate office to provide additional information.

Get Admitted

Application

High School transcript (incoming freshman)/college transcript (transfer)

Standardized test score (ASSET or COMPASS) (incoming freshman and transfers if they have not completed college-level English and Math)

Scholarships

Applications available online, by mail, or in person at the John A. Logan College Foundation Office

Financial Aid

Fill out Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) (note: this must be done EACH YEAR).

After Admission

Make sure any transfer credit or AP credit is sent to Admissions office

Send final high school or college transcript

Tuition Payment

Payment Plan
