College Work Study

Students with limited family resources as determined by the results of the FAFSA are provided this federally-funded opportunity to earn "spending money" through part-time, on-campus employment.

Obtain and complete a Student Work Application and return it to the Job Placement Office located in C207. Upon submitting a completed application, you should meet personally with a placement office staff member to discuss your qualifications and availability for work. You will be contacted if a position becomes available that matches your skills and schedule.

Students can work no more than 20 hours per week, with some positions requiring less hours. The salary is minimum wage and pay checks are issued the 5th and 20th of each month. Minimum enrollment is 12 credit hours per semester for Fall and Spring and 6 credit hours for Summer. A job is not guaranteed, and you are not guaranteed to earn your entire award.
