Southern Illinois Writer's Guild meets monthly to bring together area writers. Novice
or veteran, published or unpublished, we encourage and assist each other in our creative
endeavors. Guests are always welcome. We meet at 7:00 pm the third Thursday of each month, except in December when there is no meeting. Our meeting place is the Terrace Dining Room, off the cafeteria in the main building at John A Logan College Click Here for the map of the entire campus in Carterville, Il, just off US Highway 13. Students are invited to attend any time without any special invitation. Can't afford
dues? The Public is invited to attend our meetings free of charge. Of course, membership
has its privileges (e.g. anthology publication and newsletter are only available
to members).
Membership
for the Guild is only $15 for community members and $5 for students. Membership runs
from January through December of each year. The Guild's newsletter is published monthly.
