John A. Logan College has established a committee on “Aging is an Asset in southern Illinois.” The committee is co–chaired by Senator Larry Woolard and Dr. Robert L. Mees, president of John A. Logan College. An action group co–chaired by Dr. Julia Schroeder, Vice President for Instruction at John A. Logan College, and George O’Neill, Executive Director of Shawnee Health Service, has identified six issues to be addressed. The issues and facilitators for each program area include:
