| The No Child Left Behind Act outlines the qualifications that education paraprofessionals in Title I schools must achieve. Each school receiving federal assistance through Title I funds must ensure that all paraprofessionals hired have completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education, have received an associate degree, or are able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge through state or local academic assessments. | ||||||
