LOGAN'S LEARNING COMMUNITY

John A. Logan College's learning community consists of a team of students, faculty and support staff, working collaboratively across both course and disciplinary boundaries. Through a variety of formal and informal group activities, students build a sense of group identity, which counteracts the sense of isolation, which many students experience during their first year in college.
Both faculty and support staff encourage students to be agents of their own learning, to look at material through multiple perspectives, and to understand the relevance of their learning community experience to all aspects of their lives, both now and in the future.
